Chispa 100 Litros - Institutional Stove
The Chispa 100 Litros Institutional Stove was originally designed for our neighbor Maria. Maria prepares food in the day to sell on the street by night and came to us to see if we could help her boil her chicharron (pork belly) faster. The pot she was using was 100 litres and would take roughly 1.5 hours to boil and would produce a huge amount of smoke.
With her new stove.Maria can now boil the same quantity of water in just 45 minutes. She is able to save an estimated 75% firewood however this is a welcome secondary effect for her as she loves to boast about her abundant supply of wood that her son brings for her! |

The Hiteca-100 is suitable for micro-entrepeneural women who (like Maria) prepare large quantities of food for sale as well as institutions such as school, hospitals, prisons and farm estates.
The base is constructed on site with a mason carrying out the construction, then the metal skirt and the pot are positioned on the top of the stove. The skirt can be installed with or without a chimney depending on the requirements of the user. This layout also allows the use of a range of different pot sizes giving extra flexability to the user. |
